Yes!! It's a common misconception that a chimney doesn't need sweeping after the installation of a multi fuel or wood burning stove. It does however, require just the same regular sweeping as any chimney. In fact, some manufacturers may not honour their warranty if the flue has not been regularly swept.
I've had my chimney relined so do I need to have it swept?
